Wanda Jean Bergman, 81, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born July 2, 1935, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Jesse and Maxine (Thompson) Grace.

She retired from Welborn hospital as a physical therapy tech in 1999. She loved to shop and work with the flowers in her yard. She was a very kind person, would do anything for anyone, never complained and never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her friends and always sent them cards.

Wanda Jean Bergman, 81, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born July 2, 1935, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Jesse and Maxine (Thompson) Grace.

She retired from Welborn hospital as a physical therapy tech in 1999. She loved to shop and work with the flowers in her yard. She was a very kind person, would do anything for anyone, never complained and never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her friends and always sent them cards.
Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Gertie Mae Grace; step-mother, Rachel Grace, and brother, Isaac Moore.

She is survived by her brother, James (Renee) Grace; niece, Joy Ringer; nephew, Gabriel Grace; several step-nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, and her constant companion, her dog Sassy.

Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave, officiated by Rev. Andy Payton. Friends may visit 9:00AM to service time at the funeral home.
